Phelps Stokes Board of Trustees Holds 198th Meeting

Phelps Stokes held its biannual Board Meeting

Last week, the Phelps Stokes Board of Trustees held its 198th meeting.  The meeting was held at the Washington offices of the Baker & McKenzie law firm, of which Board Chair Jonathan Cahn is a partner.  Among the issues discussed at the Board Meeting were Phelps Stokes’ current work with the Tanzanian Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, the New Africa Network Initiative, partnering with the American Indian Working Group in order to reinvest Phelps Stokes’ commitment to indigenous communities, and the creation of the Leadership Subcommittee, headed by Board Member Ambassador Robert Gelbard, in order to coordinate leadership development activities between different Phelps Stokes programs.  Above, Board Member Sandra English is pictured with Phelps Stokes President Badi Foster.
