Phelps Stokes, Communications Specialist
Alissa Cherry joined Phelps Stokes September of 2011. She holds a B.A. in American Studies and Journalism, with a focus on popular culture, politics, and the media, from Brandeis University. Previously, she has worked as a community reporter for AOL's Patch.com, interned at Conde Nast, as well as acted as a policy and advocacy intern at the Campaign for Innocent Victims in Conflict (CIVIC). Alissa has co-authored public school policy protecting the privacy rights of students nationwide. Alissa leads the communications department in all creative marketing printed and digital, and as well as fundraising event planning.
Alissa also assists in partnership building for sponsorships and programmatic activity for the Global Youth Innovation Network and Phelps Stokes as a whole.
